I used a 5’ x 12’ 3-axis CNC router, owned by David Perrier of "Cabinets by Perrier", to cut the jigs and bulkheads. The bulkheads were fabricated out of oversized, pre-glassed pieces using AutoCAD patterns.

  The Instrument Panel, pre-glassed.

The Instrument Panel, glassed and routed.

  The Instrument Panel, scraps removed.

All Bulkheads and Temporay Firewall cut and finished.

A hand router was used to trim the F-22 doubler, tracing the finished edge. This same method could be used to cut all the bulkheads using masonite templates (in lieu of a $200,000 CNC router).
